PROGRAM OUTLINE

–Team Breakdown

»Single Grade 8th Select

»Single Grade 7th Select

»Single Grade 7th and Single Grade 8th Travel teams

•7th Select and Travel will be coached by Parent Coaches and will be selected after the team is announced

•8th Select and Travel will be coached by independent, non - parent coaches of players on team.

*At the 8th grade level, the SLC’s goal is to not have a parent coach their own child’s team. However, if there is need of a parent coach to help with team, the SLC will utilize this coach’s willingness and availability to help provide proper staffing of coaches for teams.

•Every girl will make a team (if your daughter does not make the Select team, she will automatically be placed on a Travel)

•The number of players on each team will depend on how many girls are registered and the results of evaluations. Teams will not be made with less than 18 players per team. Teams with more than 25 players will utilize pods to maximize playing time for players at games.  Our Goals are as follows:

Travel  approx 18-25 players.

Select  approx 18-22 players

•Both Select and Travel will have approximately 8-10 games and 2 tournaments

Commitment level required for Select team is greater than Travel- See Participation Policy below.*
